What are the Benefits of drinking peppermint tea?
Peppermint is powerful herbal that helps in many ways. If you want to freshen up your breath, peppermint is one of the best ways to do so. Chewing on a peppermint leaf will not only freshen up your breath but it will also help if you are nauseous or experiencing a slight stomachache. Many people don’t know how simple it is to prepare a peppermint drink.
How to prepare peppermint tea?
The most simplified way to enjoy peppermint is making it into a tea. Grab some peppermint leaves in a cup, add some granulated sugar or honey and muddle it well. While muddling the sugar or honey with the peppermint leaves, it releases the oil and helps properties of the peppermint. After one or two minutes of muddling the ingredients, pour in some hot water. Begin to indulge in a refreshing tea. By fair the most simplistic way is by buying a peppermint tea bag and pouring how water in your cup. Cover it with a plate to insure the tea is steeping well. To sweeten up the tea you can add some granulated sugar or some raw honey.
How to make a Peppermint Raspberry Mocktail?
Start off by making your peppermint tea with an organic store bought peppermint tea bag. Place your tea bag into your cup. Heat up some water until it comes to a boil and pour it over the tea bag. You can cover up the cup to ensure your tea steeps or you can set it aside for about 5-7 minutes.
How to muddle the raspberries for the Mocktail?
With a handful of fresh raspberries (washed) place it in either a thick cup that can handle pressure from the meddler or you can add it into a shaker cup (used for bartenders). Pour in 4 ounces of fresh lemon or lime juice, 4 ounces of agave syrup for sweetness. Lastly, break apart some fresh mint to release the oils/fragrance of the mint and pour it into your cup. Use a meddler or a fork to press down on all the ingredients and combine the flavors together. After it's all muddled, add ice to your shaker and give it a good shake. to your serving cup add some ice, pour in your mixture while straining it with a strainer. Pour some lemon seltzer water (8oz) and top it off with the peppermint tea on top (4oz).
